What challenges are you going to do?
Well, a digital detox to start with. We are slowly phasing this out until you are completely free of social media. A second big challenge is a tough hike through the jungle to the highest point of Karimunjawa. Together with a guide you work your way through the jungle to the top. The feeling of freedom that you will experience will enrich you, not to mention the view! And last but not least, after a day of island hopping and snorkeling, you will spend the night on an uninhabited island. You will find and prepare your own dinner and sleep in a tent, or if you really have guts, just in the hammock under the starry sky.
You can give yourself the above challenges on the island of Karimunjawa, one of the 28 islands of a beautiful archipelago in the middle of the Java Sea. Where you jump from your bed into the clear warm turquoise sea. Where you see the most beautiful sunsets and where you will feel happy, calm and peaceful.
From the moment we are born we enter ‘the system’. The system that everyone is squeezed into. Automatically, without thinking about it. Your parents take care of that, your family, the teachers at school, the neighbours, the friends and later also the teachers of the studies.
Everything you learn in this system you find “normal”.
But, more and more young people are becoming aware that they do not want to be squeezed into this system! And that it’s actually not as normal as it seems at first. And will (rightly) resist. With all the consequences and a lot of stress.
This retreat is tailor-made for you
We have created a retreat for young people who are looking for a challenge to learn and grow in combination with adventure. A youth retreat of 8 days in which you get to work with each other and with yourself. You will be guided in this by Margo, a woman with a lot of life experience who is young at heart.
Margo’s working method is always intuitive, she feels what it takes and what you need. That can sometimes be a listening ear, or a good conversation. Other times it will be an energy healing session, or a ceremony. Margo works with your ‘inner child issues’ because that is often the origin of all current blockages and obstacles. She will help you with daily guidance to break through those blockages so that you can be free again with all the (positive) consequences that entails. You also will enjoy daily yoga- and meditation classes (you don’t have to be experienced in advance).

You will go to a powerful place in the middle of nature, at the sea, at the foot of a mountain, where the jungle begins. The recently built 110 meter long jetty makes the sunsets even more beautiful, the swimming even nicer and the stargazing in the evening is magical.

The price of € 895,– per person for 8 days/7 nights includes*:
- 7 nights based on shared bungalow*

Travel expenses to Karimunjawa are not included in the prices mentioned above and your booking is final after you received the receipt of your payment from Alam Kita.
